Welcome to The Great Exhibition, a photo blog of the strange and wonderful vintage photos I come across whilst stumbling about the internet.
Within this blog will be things that MAY be considered offensive to some people, including post mortem photos(non-graphic)(which were very common in the Victorian era, by the way), war wounds, and nudity. If you think you'll be offended by any of this, PLEASE LEAVE NOW.
If you have any further information on any pictures, please let me know in the comments so I can add it :) In addition, if you have a great photo you think should be added, suggest a post. Please include as much information as you can on the photo. Please don't send in just simple portraits of your grandmother. While I'm sure she's lovely, that's not the kind of photos I want on the blog. Make sure to look at a lot of pictures to get a feel for the blog before submitting.
My personal Tumblr is The Rise and Fall of, so check it out.
all photos posted on this blog were found on various websites. credit is given where applicable, otherwise it is assumed they are part of public domain. i do not claim to own ANY of these photos, unless specifically stated. if you have any copyright complaints, please comment on the picture in question with your concerns and they will immediately be addressed. copyright issues on user submitted posts are the responsibility of the submitting poster.
